  • Keep proper amount of wax available on spinning frames
  • Cycle/rotate and clean frames at least every 3 hours.
  • Clean and remove any cotton waste or lint buildup on the waxing device taking care not to break the springs.
  • Keep the floor swept near the spinning frames.
  • Maintain good housekeeping in designated area at all times.
  • Report any unsafe work practices and/or conditions to shift manager immediately.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned by shift manager.
  • Maintain a sufficient supply of tubes from the warehouse
  • Label tubes and place on the spinning frame elevator.
  • Ensure elevator is working properly and report any issues to management
  • Shift differential for night shift

SUCCESS FACTORS/JOB COMPETENCIES:

Previous mechanical experience and good hand eye coordination

PREFERRED EDUCATION/SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES

High School Diploma or GED

ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be able to learn and perform all scheduled job procedures independently; to keep the assigned job functioning at all times.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Must be physically equipped to maintain an upright, walking position for a twelve (12) hour shifts. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Must keep work area and machines clean. Wear required personal protective equipment at all times and adhered to all safety rules and procedures.
