Job Description :
- Using Thai culinary training and strong cooking knowledge, prepare and cook Thai Specialty dishes, pursuant to the Employer's high standards and under time pressure
- Ensure that the food prepared is authentic and represent the delicate Thai cuisine
- Plan, design and develop recipes and menus, taking into account such factors as seasonal availability of ingredients and the likely number of customers
- Determines how food should be presented, and creates decorative food displays
· Supervise and train prep cooks in the Thai culinary arts
- Checks the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure that standards are met
- Checks the quantity and quality of received products
· Checks stock levels and orders supplies
· Determines production schedules and staff requirements necessary to ensure timely delivery of services
- Follows standards and regulations regarding sanitary practices
· Maintains high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety
Salary: $50,939/year
Requirement: 24-36 months in any occupation demonstrating Thai cooking experience (2-3 years of experience in Thai cooking).
