Thai Specialty Cook

Thai Fusion Restaurant & Lounge serves delicious, authentic Thai food to the Seattle community. We pride ourselves on our high-quality dishes, cozy ambiance, and exceptional service. In order to remain successful, we are looking for experienced and talented Thai Specialty Cooks to work in our busy kitchen, especially during rush hours.

Specifically, our Thai Specialty Cooks will perform the following duties:

1. Prepare and cook authentic Thai dishes using an understanding of the herbs and spices which permeate Thai cooking, including fermented fish sauce, shrimp pastes, lemongrass, coriander, galingale, garlic, and chilies;
2. Cook in a fast-paced environment under time pressure;
3. Prepare different types of Thai specialty sauces so the dishes contain unique and authentic Thai flavors; and
4. Perform other health and sanitation duties as required by law.

SALARY: $50,900 - $51,500/year

REQUIREMENTS:  24 months in any occupation demonstrating Thai cooking experience (2 years of experience in Thai cooking).
