Thai Specialty Cook (Several Positions)

Tasty Thai Factoria serves authentic and contemporary Thai cuisine in Washington. We are dedicated to serving authentic Thai food to our customers in the community. Our Thai Specialty Cooks will coordinate food preparation, assist with food production tasks, and ensure that quality and quantity are consistently maintained.

Specifically, our Thai Specialty Cooks will perform the following duties:   

1. Prepare and cook authentic Thai dishes using an understanding of the herbs and spices which permeate Thai cooking, including fermented fish sauce, shrimp pastes, lemongrass, coriander, galingale, garlic, and chilies;
2. Cook in a fast-paced environment under time pressure;
3. Check the quality of raw and final products to ensure the highest quality standards are met;
4. Prepare different types of Thai specialty sauces so the dishes contain unique and authentic Thai flavors; and
5. Perform other health and sanitation duties as required by law.

SALARY: $50,690/year

REQUIREMENTS:  24 months in any occupation demonstrating Thai cooking experience (2 years of experience in Thai cooking).
