Job Description :
- Using Thai culinary training and strong cooking knowledge, preparing and cooking Thai Specialty dishes, pursuant to the Employer's high standards and under time pressure
- Ensuring that the food prepared is authentic and represents the delicate Thai cuisine
- Planning, designing, and developing recipes and menus, taking into account such factors as seasonal availability of ingredients and the likely number of customers
- Determining how food should be presented, and creating decorative food displays
- Supervising and training line cooks in the Thai culinary arts
- Checking the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure that standards are met
- Checking the quantity and quality of received products
- Checking stock levels and ordering supplies
- Determining production schedules and staff requirements necessary to ensure timely delivery of services
- Following standards and regulations regarding sanitary practices
- Maintaining high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety
Salary: $50,690/year
Requirement: 24 months in any occupation demonstrating Thai cooking experience (2 years of experience in Thai cooking).
