The Country Club of Virginia Seeks Head Squash Professional

CCV is seeking a Head Squash Professional to help lead, develop, and elevate the Club's squash program. With four state-of-the-art singles courts and one doubles court, the facility supports a vibrant and growing community of players, from young juniors to seasoned competitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and grow the squash program for all ages and skill levels
• Teach private and group lessons to juniors and adults
• Organize and run clinics, leagues, exhibitions, and social events
• Coordinate and host internal and external tournaments
• Develop junior programming with a focus on engagement, skill development, and progression
• Foster a welcoming and inclusive culture that supports member retention and new participation
• Maintain the squash facilities in coordination with maintenance staff
• Assist in budgeting, program marketing, and communication with members
• Support broader racquets and club-wide events as needed

Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a Squash Professional or high-level player (collegiate or pro tour background preferred)
• Proven coaching ability with players of all ages and skill levels
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a member-first attitude
• Organized, self-motivated, and team-oriented
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

The ideal individual will be able to provide engaging, energetic squash lessons for adults and juniors of all ages and ability levels in both private and group formats. Experience in pickleball and/or platform tennis is preferred but not required. The position will also include administrative duties; exposure to 10 & under and high-performance juniors; as well as support for Club events, socials, and tournaments.
