Description

Looking for team members to strengthen the team and drive revenue growth, we are specifically seeking candidates with a proven sales background and a strong track record of achieving results. This role requires proactive outreach, marketing and promotional efforts, relationship-building skills, and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Facilitate the sale of cabanas and other rental units to our guests at The Pool
  • Actively sell rental units to interested guests
  • Utilize computer programs to track rental inventory
  • Graciously greet guests and escort them to their rental, ensuring complete satisfaction from start to finish
  • Communicate with staff to ensure the guests are greeted, served and taken care of in a timely manner
  • Interact with co-workers and customers in a professional and polite manner.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
  • Must be 21 years of age

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Previous experience in Hosting/Sales positions preferred.
  • Previous experience in high volume outlets preferred.
  • Good communications skills and professionalism are required when dealing with guests, co-workers and management.
  • Ability to work with interruptions and to perform multiple tasks while remaining collected in high pressure situations.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills with the ability to accurately communicate.
  • A high level understanding of interpersonal skills to productively deal with business contacts and team members at all levels of the company.
  • Possess a strong attention to detail and engaging presentation skills. Has the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, staff, clients, and general public.
  • Ability to accurately add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure and calculate figures and amounts.
  • Ability to define and solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations in a calm, professional manner.
  • Ability to interpret and follow through on a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Excellent time management, problem solving and organizational skills are a must.
  • Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekend hours as business needs dictate.
  • Dedicated to meeting and/or exceeding the expectations and requirements of internal and external staff.
  • Trusted and is seen as a truthful individual who is highly respectful of others.
  • Consistently exhibits courteous, respectful, and appropriate communications and presents information in a concise and understandable format.
  • Cooperate with others in the accomplishment of joint tasks and common objectives.

  • Meet requirements of regular attendance in order to effectively complete job responsibilities in a timely manner.

Analytical Skill:

  • Cabana Host personnel must have the analytical skills to keep cashier bank, money handling accounted for at all times.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum one year's experience in sales or any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES

  • Must be able to maintain appropriate Gaming License & Alcohol Awareness card.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • While performing the duties of this job, the team member is constantly standing, walking, and reaching overhead during the duration of their shift.
  • Must be able to push/pull and lift/carry 10lbs or less frequently.
  • The team member will constantly have repetitive use of both feet. Team member will constantly have repetitive use of their dominant hand, occasional use of their non-dominant hand, and constant light grasping motions. Team member will have frequent use of firm/strong grasping motion. Finger dexterity of both hands will be frequently required.
  • Constant use of vision abilities is required including distance, depth perception, field of vision, and color vision.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Work performed consistently indoors and occasionally outdoors, alone and frequently with and around others. Team Member will perform work face-to-face including verbal contact with others on extended shifts confined areas around computer equipment.
  • Team Member may be around flame/heat generated devices.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
  • Team Member may be exposed to extreme heat/cold, vibrations, slippery surfaces, odor and/or secondhand smoke.
