**Job Summary**
Responsible for all aspects of the daycare programs to ensure children have quality care, teachers are credentialed and that all state and federal guidelines are in compliance.
The Sandbox is licensed by the NC Division of Child Development in the NC Department of Human Resources. The center is deeply committed to ongoing training and higher education for the teachers and support staff. **Summary of Essential Job Functions**
- Responsible for all aspects of program development as required by state guidelines.
- Responsible for staffing and the supervision of all teachers and ensuring the proper credentialed.
- Responsible for receiving weekly tuition and maintaining the daycare budget.
- Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, maintenance and safety issues of the facility.
- Responsible for ensuring quality care, safety, and the well-being of all children at the center.
- Ensure the smooth flow of the daycare program and the adhere to the stated philosophy.
- Responsible for coordinating staff meetings and parent conferences.
**Minimum Requirements**
2 Years prior experience as a director and minimum 2 year associate degree in early childhood development
