Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Technical Theater, Theater Management, Production Design, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum of 35 years of professional experience in technical theater, venue management, or live event production, preferably in an educational setting.
- Proficiency with modern lighting consoles (eso., ETC Eos/Ion family), digital audio consoles (e.g., Yamaha, Behringer/Midas, Allen & Heath), RF coordination and theatrical networking protocols (esp. Dante, sACN, and HDBaseT)
- Strong understanding of stage rigging, carpentry, and electrical safety.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work calmly under pressure.
- Must pass all required state and federal criminal background checks and child abuse clearances required for K-12 school district employees.
Job Summary:
- Responsible for the technical preparation, operation, and maintenance of the district's performing arts facilities (including high school and middle school auditoriums, All purpose spaces, and auxiliary performance spaces).
- Bridge facility management, technical production, and student education by ensuring all performances and events are executed smoothly, safely, and professionally, while also mentoring student technical crews.
Salary:
- $65,000 - $73,000 (pending final negotiations)
