East Cooper Montessori Charter School (ECMCS) is seeking a passionate Theater Teacher to lead our thriving performing arts program for grades 1–8, including directing our annual 5th Grade Musical Theater Production.

About the Role

The Theater Teacher inspires students to develop confidence and creativity through performance, acting, and stagecraft. This educator will collaborate with faculty to integrate performing arts into school culture and direct student productions throughout the year.

Qualifications

• State certification in Theater/Drama Education
• Experience teaching theater to elementary and/or middle school students preferred
• Strong instructional and classroom management skills
• Passion for arts education and student development
• Collaborative, energetic, and creative mindset
