Part-time position scheduled as needed to support events at the District's Performing Arts Centers (PACs). Work hours vary and typically include evenings and weekends, with occasional daytime hours. Hours are assigned on an event- or project-specific basis, and no minimum number of hours is guaranteed.
Job Summary: Under the supervision of the Production Manager, the Theater Technician sets up, operates, troubleshoots, and strikes technical equipment for theater events, including lighting, audio, rigging, video/streaming, and projection systems. Based on the technical requirements of each event, the Theater Technician performs one or more technical roles, including lighting, audio, or stage technician, working independently or as part of a team. The Theater Technician may also perform maintenance and other theater-related duties as assigned by the Production Manager. Specific responsibilities for this position are as described on the attached job description.
Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour. Time sheet will be required for pay.
