Position: Theatre Director Position Type: After School Program Location: Franklin High School Stipend: $9,225.00 Start Date: September 2026 - June 2027 Position Type: After-School Program Director General Description: Franklin Public Schools is seeking a passionate individual to direct the Theater Arts after-school program at Franklin High School. With the goal of supporting and growing the theatre arts program, the ideal candidate will possess the vision, skills, and knowledge to instruct students in all facets of theater production. Qualifications: Demonstrated ability to direct a range of theater performances, including dramas and musicals Experience in show selections, scripting, auditioning, rehearsals, costume and prop procurement, budgeting and accounting, front-of-house activities such as ticketing and hospitality knowledge of and ability to facilitate the design and construction of sets for a range of performances Willingness to foster strong working relationships with students, colleagues, and the community Expectations: Direct and run rehearsals after school and on select weekends Multiple evening productions per year, currently structured as: Fall Musical Winter METG Participation Spring Senior Directed or Other Performance We understand that our collective success depends on the robust exchange of ideas; an exchange that is best when the rich diversity of our perspectives, backgrounds, and experiences flourishes.
