This is an opportunity to combine Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) with a school-based, team-driven program. As a TA/BT Flex, you will foster each child's cognitive, social, emotional, adaptive, and developmental growth.Responsibilities:Providing individualized therapyCollecting data on programmingProviding support during therapeutic rotationsImplementing evidence-based intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBACollaborating daily with teachers, physical and speech therapists, and social workersDocumenting progress and communicating with families to support continuity of careKnowledge and Skills Required:Associate's degree or equivalent college credit (60 credits) required; Bachelor's degree preferredCompletion of 40-hour training of ASD and behavioral related subjects/evidence-based techniquesExperience working with children or clients with special needs requiredExperience working with children with autism preferredActive BACB certification preferredWorking Environment and Physical Demands:Ability to lift at least 35 lbs, including but not limited to lifting children, therapy equipment etc.Ability to walk and/or run if needed to keep clients safe.Ability to implement behavior management techniques, based on training provided by the company.Ability to use hands and arms to prepare and perform required therapy tasks.Ability to utilize keyboard, desktop, and ipad to complete documentation required for funders.The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
