Qualifications:
Required:
- Associate or Bachelor s Degree preferred with a psychology, social work or healthcare related field
- Valid NJ Driver's license without restrictions
Preferred:
- Prior experience working with youth ages 6-17 years of age that are experiencing behavioral health symptoms that impede their ability to be successfuMoving down in order of pertinence
Scheduling Requirements
Essential Functions:
- Establishes and maintains supportive relationships with consumers
- Serves as a broker between the needs and perspective of the consumer and the goals of the treatment system; may include educating treatment providers and advocating on behalf of the consumer
- Information sharing regarding the emergency assessment and/or screening process
- One-on-one attention and encouragement to individuals who are undergoing the emergency assessment/screening process
- Responsible for modeling/ coaching in the use of coping skills
- Provides personal assistance and support during crisis episode,
