Intake Therapist - Adult Outpatient Services This position will be located at our Adult Outpatient Services in Dothan, Al Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm Responsibilities: - Provide therapeutic services to clients of the system's substance abuse and mental illness units
- Employ various clinical and social treatment skills and approaches
- Provides clinical intakes, psychotherapy, documentation, coordination with agency services and response to emergency situations
- Travel may be required within the five-county catchment area and/or statewide as needed
Requirements: - Masters degree from an accredited college or university in Psychology, Social Work or related field
- Completion of a relevant clinical practicum
- Two years post masters experience preferred
- Must be willing to obtain AADA certification within 2 years of hire
- Licensure as an LCSW or LPC in the state of Alabama is preferred but not required
- good background check and MVR and a pre-employment drug screen
- Must meet insurability requirements to drive a system vehicle (21 years of age).
