Therapist, Child and Adolescent Day Hospital (PRN)

Schedule: PRN as needed, Monday-Friday days. Type: In Person.

TheChild and Adolescent Day Hospitalat Sheppard Pratt’s Towson campus is a warm and welcoming environment for adolescents who need more clinically-intensive services than can be provided in an outpatient setting. Our interdisciplinary treatment team provides therapeutic programming that bridges the gap between inpatient and outpatient care for our young patients.

What to expect.

You will providecompassionate care to children and adolescents ages 12 through 17on an as-needed basis. No evening or weekend hours are required.

Specific responsibilities will include:

• Providingindividual and group therapy sessionsusing evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Offeringsupportive counselingand monitoring progress towards treatment goals.
• Collaborating with treatment team membersto communicate patient progress and contribute to treatment planning and aftercare planning processes.
• Participating in family meetings and collaborative care sessions as needed tosupport holistic patient care.

What we need from you.

• Must possess one of the following Maryland licenses at time of hire:
  • Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
  • Licensed Certified Social Worker – Clinical (LCSW-C)
  • Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC)
  • Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC)

Pay for this position is determined on a number of factors, including but not limited to, license and years and level of related experience. The pay range for this position is $28 - $50/hr.
