Role Overview:
A behavioral health organization is seeking an experienced Child & Family Therapist for a 6-month assignment providing care within their youth residential treatment program. Leveraging trauma-informed expertise, the ideal candidate will lead individual and group therapy, partner with care teams, and help clients heal.
Compensation: $28.00 - $35.00 / HR
Location: Montgomery County, Pennsylvania
Schedule: Tuesday - Friday from 10 am 8 pm
Responsibilities:
Conducting individual and family therapy
Consulting with multidisciplinary treatment teams
Developing customized treatment plans
Documenting timely clinical notes
Educating staff on therapeutic frameworks
Responding to crisis situations
Testifying in court proceedings
Coordinating care with community providers
Qualifications:
Masters degree in social work or counseling
2+ years experience with seriously emotionally disturbed youth
Knowledge of trauma-focused modalities
Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills
Collaborative team player
Certification in TF-CBT, CBT preferred
