Status: Part Time Hourly FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt
Summary of the Position: Therapist will provide therapeutic support to children and caregivers as needed and outlined in Individualized Service Plans (ISP). Therapist will serve as YAPs primary point person on the ISP team for assisting in creating a behavior management plan for the child with the other members of the ISP team.
Knowledge of substance abuse and/or domestic violence is preferred.
Qualifications/Requirements: • Master's Degree in the field of Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling with five (5) years of proven post-master's experience in family and children's services • Must have a Valid Licensure to practice counseling in Alabama. LCSW, LGSW, ALC, and/or LPC from a college or university • Strong communication and organizational skills • Experience working with at risk youth and families • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite • Bilingual (Spanish speaking) is a plus
