Therapist III

 

We are looking for purpose-driven Therapists to join our team at Psychiatry Southpark. Our Therapists provide individual, family, group therapy and collaborative care as appropriate in the outpatient setting. They complete patient assessments, plan for therapeutic interventions, follow up care, implement treatment plans and coordinate the treatment process. Also demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide services appropriate to the age and cultural diversity of the patients served.

 

Schedule: 8:00AM-5:00PM, Monday-Friday

What We're Looking For:
  • Education: Graduate Degree, required. Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or related field. 
  • Experience: Minimum of three years experience, required. 
  • Licensure/Certification: Licensed Clinical Mental Health Clinician, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Counselor or Clinic Phd/PsyD level Psychologist, required. For the Substance Use Therapist role, Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist or Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Associate with above required license, preferred. NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions within 3 months of hire. Team members in strictly remote positions are exempt. Team members working strictly in behavioral health outpatient clinics are exempt from state approved curricula but are required to take NEC0170 De-escalation Techniques and Effective Communication Strategies within 3 months of hire, required. 
  • Additional Skills (required): Good working knowledge of computers. Ability to care for Behavioral Health Age Specific populations.
What You'll Do:
  • Complete patient assessments, plan for therapeutic interventions and appropriate follow up care, implement treatment plans, coordinate the treatment process
  • Make treatment and level of care decisions independently
  • Collaborate with Physician Providers
  • Manage your own schedule, refer patients as needed to a higher level of care or request consultations
