Position Summary
The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) provides comprehensive respiratory care services under physician direction for neonatal and adult patient populations. The therapist performs diagnostic evaluation, therapeutic treatment, patient education, and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation while maintaining high standards of patient safety and clinical excellence across multiple care settings.
Required Experience
Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience.
Required experience in NICU and Adult patient care.
Experience with Dra ger ventilators required.
Experience using Cerner EMR required.
Strong independent clinical judgment and communication skills.
Required Certifications & Licensure
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
(CRT candidates will not be accepted)
Active Florida Respiratory Therapist License required.
Current certifications:
BLS Basic Life Support
ACLS Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support
NRP Neonatal Resuscitation Program
Work Environment
Acute care hospital setting
Care provided to neonatal, pediatric, and adult populations
Fast-paced clinical environment requiring strong critical thinking and adaptability
Day shift schedule consisting of three 12-hour shifts weekly
