JobSummary:

AsaTherapist,youwillassess,diagnose,andtreatclientsusingevidence-basedinterventionsacrossindividual,group,andfamilysettings.Youwilldevelopindividualizedtreatmentplans,participateinclinicalstaffing,coordinatecarewithinternalteamsandreferralsources,managedocumentationperregulatorystandards,andrespondtocriseswhentheyarise.Thisroleincludesopportunitiestoprovideclinicalsupervisiontotraineesandcontributetoprogramgoalsandcommunityoutreach.

KeyResponsibilities:

·Provideindividual,group,family,andspecialtycounseling(e.g.,trauma,co-occurringdisorders)tailoredtoclientgoals.

·Conductintakes/screeningsandcomprehensiveassessments;determineanddocumentdiagnoses.

·Develop,implement,andreviseindividualizedtreatmentplansthatalignwithstateandagencystandards.

·Facilitatetransitionsofcare,includingcompletionoftransitionsummariesandcorrespondence.

·Participateinclinicalstaffing,treatmentteammeetings,andprovideclinicalconsultationtoteammembers.

·Maintaintimely,accuratedocumentationofallservicesinformatsandcorrectchartingdeficienciesasneeded.

·Coordinatewithinternaldepartmentsandexternalreferralsourcestoensureauthorizedservicesandcontinuityofcare.

·Respondtocrisissituationsand,whennecessary,participateinorcoordinateemergencyservices.

·Provideclinicalsupervisiontotraineesonceprofessionalrequirementsaremet.

·Representtheagencyprofessionallywithinthecommunityandsupportorganizationalgoalsandinitiatives.

Education,Experience,and/orCredentialQualifications:

·Master’sdegreeinSocialWork,Psychology,Counseling,orrelatedfield.

·Holdsapplicableprofessionallicensureforthestateofpractice(LPC,LCSW,orLMFT).

·Willingnesstopursuelicensureinadditionalstatesasrequired.

·Comfortableprovidingtelehealthservices(trainingprovided).

AdditionalQualifications:

·Mustmeetemploymentrequirementsincludingsuccessfulbackgroundchecks,fingerprinting,andacceptabledrivingrecord.

·CompletionofNewHireOrientationandmandatorytraining(includingRelias)peragencyschedules.

·FirstAidandCPRcertificationwithinthree(3)monthsofhireandmaintainedthereafter.

·BehavioralManagementtrainingwithin30daysofemployment(CPIforResidential;PeacefulInterventionorVerbalDe-escalationforOutpatient).

·Demonstratedknowledgeofdiagnosticcriteria,caseloadmanagement,rehabilitationprinciples,andlegal/courtproceduresrelatedtomentalhealthandsubstanceusetreatment.

·Strongverbalandwrittencommunicationskills;abilitytoestablisheffectiverelationshipsviain-person,telephone,andtelehealthcontacts.

·Abilitytofollowsupervisionandworkcollaborativelywithinmultidisciplinaryteams.

PhysicalRequirements

·ADAConsideration-Sedentarywork:exertingupto10poundsofforceoccasionallyand/ornegligibleamountofforcefrequently;repetitivemovementsofhands,fingers,andarmsfortypingand/orwriting.

·Primarilyinvolvessittingwithoccasionalwalkingorstandingforbriefperiods.
