Provide comprehensive speech and language pathology services to patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve patient outcomes within regulatory and clinical standards.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate patients using standardized assessments and evidence-based practices to determine communication and swallowing needs.
Develop, implement, and modify treatment plans based on patient progress and clinical assessments.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare team members regarding therapy goals and progress.
Document all clinical interventions, treatment minutes, and patient progress accurately in electronic health records.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, care conferences, and ongoing training sessions.
Supervise and support CFY or student Speech-Language Pathologists in clinical practice.
Qualifications:
Active MA State Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
Current CCC certification from ASHA.
Minimum of 1 year of clinical speech-language pathology experience; new graduates with Level II experience considered.
Experience working in LTC or rehab settings preferred.
Demonstrate adherence to ASHA and State ethical standards and practice acts.
