Cayuga Counseling Services, Inc. a private, non-for-profit health and human service agency located in Auburn, NY has a Full Time Therapist position available. The Therapist provides clinical assessments and therapeutic services to children and youth up to age 23, and their families who have experienced traumatic event. The role emphasizes a family systems approach, engaging caregivers and other family members as active participants in treatment. Services will be provided in an office setting as well as in schools, home and other community locations. Essential Functions:Conducts comprehensive clinical assessment of child, youth, and family systems.Provide individual, family and group therapy using evidence-based, trauma- informed modalities.Engage caregivers and family members in treatment planning and therapeutic interventions.Identify the modality that will best meet the presenting needs of the family as a whole and make recommendations.
