Coastal Orthopaedics provides care for sports injuries, joint conditions and musculoskeletal concerns. We offer integrative medicine services in orthopedics and sports medicine, supported by licensed physical therapists develop customized treatment plans to help you recover from injuries, manage pain and improve mobility. Our goal is to support your recovery, whether you are healing from surgery, an injury, or a chronic condition.
The Therapy Aide provides supportive services under the direct supervision of a licensed/registered therapist. Duties include patient related and non-patient related tasks and is dependent on competency and level of training completed. Patient related tasks may include transportation, preparation and assisting patient care, and/or assist with the application of modalities and procedures according to the prescription of the physician and as delegated by the primary therapist of the same discipline. Non-patient related tasks include maintenance of area, monitoring of equipment and supplies, and clerical duties.
