Baylor Rehabilitation is seeking a full time outpatient orthopedic rehab aide to join our dynamic Occupational and Physical therapy team in our brand-new space on the Baylor University Medical Center campus Downtown Dallas!
Duties include infection control cleaning, laundry, light equipment maintenance, assistance to clinicians for direct patient care, assistance to front desk for light clerical tasks, and other duties as assigned. Candidate must be energetic, able to multi-task, adaptable, and eager to learn and contribute to a positive team. Previous tech experience preferred but not required
Responsibilities
Duties include assistance to clinicians for direct patient care (transferring, toileting), infection control cleaning, light equipment maintenance, assistance to front desk for light clerical tasks, setting up patients on therapeutic activities, facilitating exercise groups, and other duties as assigned. Candidate must be hard working, thrive in a fast-paced environment, friendly, energetic, able to multi-task, adaptable, and eager to learn and contribute to a positive team.
Qualifications
- One or more years of hospital experience as therapy aide preferred.
- BLS Certification or completion within 90 days of hire
