Therapy Aide

 

Per Diem

Shift Hours:

7am-3:30pm or 8:30am-5pm

 

Pay rate: $22/hr

 

 

 

Responsibilities:

Seeking a rehab therapy aide to join a multi-disciplinary team of PTs, OTs, and SLPs providing care to patients in our Day Neuro program. The successful candidate will participate in clinical care under the direction of licensed therapists in a fast moving day rehab setting caring for patients with post acute neurological injuries including stroke, brain injury, and spinal cord injury. Duties will include providing physical assistance with therapy intervention, maintaining equipment within the department, assisting with patient transportation in the company van, and other administrative tasks. No CDL required. A driving record check will be performed. Related experience is preferred, though training will be provided to enthusiastic applicants seeking an opportunity in the rehab setting. The successful candidate will demonstrate flexibility and eagerness to serve patients as an integral member of the therapy team. Qualifications:
  • One or more years of hospital experience as therapy aide preferred.
  • BLS Certification or completion within 90 days of hire
