Youll develop our thermal management strategies, prove them through iteration and test, and fly reliable systems.ResponsibilitiesDevelop robust thermal design for avionics and other electro-mechanical subsystemsBuild and operate our thermal modelling toolchain to provide reliable results that guide key design trades down to the component levelDevelop and use testing systems that can validate in-space component and thermal control system performanceGuide material selection for components across the spacecraftCollaborate with other system designers to manage overall spacecraft thermal performanceIdeal QualificationsDemonstrated experience modelling heat transfer with numerical methods with provably accurate resultsExperience validating simulation results with TVAC and thermal cycle testing for space hardwareExperience designing thermal management systems for spacecraft.
