Seeking artistic and dedicated individuals to join a historic fine stationery manufacturer in a Thermography Training Program. No prior machine experience needed; training by experienced press operators. The program has two phases: a 90-day apprenticeship learning to operate printing presses, followed by full operation of presses to create high-quality stationery products.
Responsibilities include press maintenance, ensuring on-time delivery, safe startup procedures, maintaining quality standards, troubleshooting production issues, accurate record-keeping, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace.
Qualifications: high school diploma or equivalent, basic math, good attention to detail, positive attitude, and interest in skill development. Some mechanical experience is preferred. Physical requirements include repetitive movements, lifting up to 40 lbs., and visual acuity for inspection.
Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, starting at $18.50/hr, with potential for increases. Some weekend work may be required during peak seasons. Equal opportunity employer.
