Step Into a Day on the Eagle Extrusion Team

At Fenner Precision Polymers, you’ll begin each shift by reviewing ISO work instructions and Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), confirming tooling, and prepping materials for the Eagle Extrusion lines. You’ll set crossheads, dies, and related tooling, then run extrusion and secondary machines to craft high‑quality belting products. Throughout the day, you’ll fabricate endless belts using automated equipment, verify quality with precision instruments, and keep production data accurate in our DSI shop floor control system.

What You’ll Handle

  • Set up and tear down extrusion lines (Crosshead, Dies, and tooling) safely and efficiently.
  • Operate extrusion and secondary machines to make products to exact specification.
  • Read and interpret product prints; perform quality checks using dial calipers and micrometers.
  • Follow ISO work instructions and JSAs to the letter.
  • Stage, move, and handle raw materials and finished goods within production areas.
  • Label and prepare raw materials for drying and processing.
  • Maintain a current forklift license and operate material-handling equipment safely.
  • Execute secondary processes such as Driver Pad Drilling.
  • Fabricate o-rings and profile belts via automated and manual methods.
  • Perform butt welding and evaluate weld quality.
  • Record all production data accurately in the DSI shop floor control system.
  • Follow packaging standards; maintain strong housekeeping and complete 6S audits.
  • Uphold Fenner Precision Polymers’ Values and Behaviors at all times.
