Q: What will I do day to day?
A: You’ll operate and monitor high‑vacuum coating equipment, load/unload precision components, and perform in‑process checks to keep every run on spec.

A: By following documented procedures, cleaning/maintaining the interior of coating systems, de‑fixturing batches, and visually inspecting completed parts.

Your core responsibilities

• Execute assigned processes to meet customer specifications, quality requirements, and production standards.
• Operate, control, and closely observe high‑vacuum PVD chambers throughout each cycle.
• Run periodic checks; adjust and escalate as needed to maintain process integrity.
• Load/unload sensitive parts; handle with care to prevent damage.
• Clean chamber interiors; perform general maintenance tasks.
• De‑fixture completed batches and conduct visual inspections.
• Take on additional duties in support of the production plan.

Schedule and physical considerations

• Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM; occasional weekends as needed.
• Physical: Ability to sit and/or stand for up to 8 hours; manual dexterity for precision handling; read English documents down to 8‑point font size.

• 3+ years of manufacturing or related experience preferred.
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude and diagnostic mindset are advantages.
• Comfort with production machines, tools, and measurement devices.
• Strong communicator who thrives in a fast‑moving environment.
