Third-Grade Classroom Teacher

Marblehead Public Schools is seeking a passionate, licensed Third Grade Classroom Teacher to join our collaborative elementary school team. This full-time position involves designing student-centered curriculum, fostering social-emotional growth, and delivering core academic instruction.

Position: Third Grade Classroom Teacher Location: Marblehead, Massachusetts

Responsibilities include all aspects of elementary classroom leadership including delivering engaging instruction in Math, Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies aligned with Massachusetts curriculum frameworks. Candidate should possess a strong understanding of MTSS, differentiation, and the ability to adapt teaching methods and materials to meet diverse learner needs. Successful candidate will have the ability to successfully and regularly collaborate with team members, special educators, EL teachers, and instructional coaches to ensure the academic, social, emotional and behavioral success for all students.

We are seeking a candidate to establish a respectful, inclusive, and collaborative classroom environment using positive behavioral strategies (e.g., Responsive Classroom and PBIS practices)

Assessments & Reporting: Use formative and summative assessments to monitor progress, write personalized progress reports, and lead parent-teacher conferences.

Collaboration: Participate actively in grade-level PLC professional development, and school-wide equity and belonging initiatives.
