Third Key - Childcare Administrative Support

Location: The Learning Experience - Tuckahoe, NY

Pay: $20-$23 per hour

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday

The Learning Experience - Tuckahoe is seeking a dependable and organized Third Key to support daily center operations, administrative responsibilities, and classroom coverage as needed. This role works closely with center leadership to help maintain smooth operations, strong family communication, and a positive school environment.

This position is ideal for someone with childcare administrative experience who enjoys balancing operational support with hands-on involvement in an early childhood education setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support daily center operations and administrative tasks
  • Assist with family communication, scheduling, and enrollment support
  • Help maintain licensing compliance and classroom documentation
  • Provide classroom coverage and ratio support as needed
  • Support opening and closing procedures alongside leadership team
  • Assist with organization of files, supplies, and center communications
  • Maintain a professional and welcoming environment for families and staff
  • Follow all New York State childcare licensing requirements and center policies

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required
  • Prior childcare administrative experience required
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Comfortable balancing administrative and classroom support responsibilities
  • Reliable, flexible, and team-oriented approach
  • Must meet New York State childcare licensing requirements
