Job Overview:
The Supplier Risk Management role involves analyzing and assessing risks, including technology, privacy security, resiliency, and other operational risks that the organization and its suppliers may face. The position requires evaluating supplier controls, documenting risk findings, and recommending action plans to mitigate risks. The ideal candidate will have strong risk management knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and assess risks related to technology, privacy security, resiliency, and other operational areas.
- Evaluate and analyze supplier controls, identifying and documenting risk findings.
- Recommend action plans and remediation strategies to mitigate risk factors.
- Gather confidential financial information such as income, assets, and debts.
- Handle private, sensitive, and confidential information appropriately.
- Make risk-avoiding adjustments to current methods of operation to minimize future risks.
- Conduct thorough research using the internet and first-person interviews.
- Communicate escalations to management as needed.
- Adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of organizational goals and values.
Qualifications:- Strong working knowledge of risk management with prior experience as a risk assistant or risk analyst.
- Knowledge of SOC 1 and SOC 2 Type II reports and third-party vendor risk management.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in computer skills, data entry, and MS Office applications.
- Preferred certifications: CIA, CRISC, CISA, CISM.
- Background in supply chain, compliance risk management, or audit is a plus.
- Knowledge of Process Unity is preferred.

Pay Range: $55.00 - $60.00
The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
