By sorting, washing, drying, and folding, you're contributing to the comfort and satisfaction of every visitor. Your efforts in maintaining our housekeeping inventory are crucial to our operations. Responsibilities: • Sort, wash, dry, and fold linen & terry according to Resort standards. • Inspect linen & terry for stains and other damage, and follow the reclaim process when needed. • Properly operate the washers and dryers according to mechanical standards. • Inform the Laundry Supervisor or Directors of any needed supplies or chemicals. • Assist with keeping an accurate inventory of supplies. • Maintain the linen carts. Qualifications: ESSENTIAL SKILLS: • Able to work independently and as part of a team. • Able to maintain composure in difficult situations. • Customer service-oriented ensures that every guest receives excellent service. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: At least one (1) year's experience in a Housekeeping Department or commercial laundry is preferred. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time. • Ability to lift and carry up to twenty-five (25) pounds. Compensation: $16 an hour to start
