What You’ll Do- Provide thoracic and cardiothoracic surgery coverage during scheduled call times
- Participate in 24-hour beeper call rotation
- Respond to emergent patient needs within the scope of cardiothoracic surgery
- Coordinate with hospital staff and specialists for patient care
- Maintain compliance with licensing and credentialing requirements
- Document procedures and bedside care accurately
- Support patient management on thoracic surgical cases as needed
What You Need- Current CV uploaded for credentialing
- Valid and active medical license (active or IMLC)
- DEA certification
- Board certified in relevant specialty
- Experience in cardiothoracic surgery preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
About the Assignment
This assignment involves coverage for a busy cardiothoracic surgery service at a leading facility in Missoula. The provider will be on a 1:3 call schedule from Thursday at 7AM MST through Monday at 7AM MST, utilizing secure paging for communication. The position offers ongoing assignment coverage from late May to the end of December 2026, with a focus on emergency and elective thoracic surgical cases.
