Quick Facts:

• Location: 800 West 5th Avenue, Spokane, WA 99204
• Start Date: 08/11/2026
• Duration: 10-14 days per month (weekend call coverage included)
• Shift: 7 am – 5 pm weekdays; 5 pm – 7 am nightly call; weekend call (Friday 7 am – Monday 7 am)
• Hours/week: Approximately 40 hours/week
• Employment Type: Full-Time Provider
• Licenses/Certifications: WA Medical License, Board Certified/Eligible in Thoracic Surgery
• Experience: Preferably 2+ years in cardio thoracic surgery

Pay & Benefits:

• Hourly pay rate: $1.00 per hour

What You’ll Do:

• Perform minimally invasive mitral procedures and aortic valve conservation surgeries
• Support aortic root procedures, remodeling, and enlargements
• Manage pre-op and post-op patient care within the cardio thoracic unit
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Contribute to coverage for weekend and weekday call shifts as scheduled
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and safety protocols

What You Need:

• Valid Washington Medical License and board certification or eligibility in thoracic surgery
• Experience in minimally invasive mitral and aortic procedures preferred
• Ability to manage call coverage and work a flexible schedule
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills
