Required Skills:
- Proven experience in Thoracic and Cardio Thoracic Surgery
- Expertise in minimally invasive mitral procedures and support with Impella55 devices
- Skilled in aortic valve conservation, aortic root procedures, and aortic remodeling and enlargement techniques
- Strong surgical judgment and decision-making capabilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to operate with precision under pressure
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with implanting and supporting Impella55 devices
- Familiarity with perioperative patient management and recovery strategies
- Participation in multidisciplinary surgical teams
- Advanced training or certifications in minimally invasive cardiac procedures
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical Degree (MD or DO) with board certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery
- Minimum of 3-5 years of specialized surgical experience in a cardiac surgery setting
- Prior experience with complex aortic and mitral procedures is highly preferred
Other Requirements:
- Valid medical license and board certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery
- Ability to start by April 16, 2026
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and weekend coverage as needed
