Job Title: Thoracic Surgery - Cardio Thoracic Surgery

Required Skills:
  • Proven experience in Thoracic and Cardio Thoracic Surgery
  • Expertise in minimally invasive mitral procedures and support with Impella55 devices
  • Skilled in aortic valve conservation, aortic root procedures, and aortic remodeling and enlargement techniques
  • Strong surgical judgment and decision-making capabilities
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to operate with precision under pressure

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with implanting and supporting Impella55 devices
  • Familiarity with perioperative patient management and recovery strategies
  • Participation in multidisciplinary surgical teams
  • Advanced training or certifications in minimally invasive cardiac procedures

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Medical Degree (MD or DO) with board certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of specialized surgical experience in a cardiac surgery setting
  • Prior experience with complex aortic and mitral procedures is highly preferred

Other Requirements:
  • Valid medical license and board certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery
  • Ability to start by April 16, 2026
  • Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and weekend coverage as needed
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to hospital protocols
