Primary Responsibilities
- Perform dimensional inspections of finished threaded products to verify compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Identify and document non-conforming products while maintaining accuracy throughout the inspection process.
- Communicate inspection findings and quality concerns with production personnel to support continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate inspection records and daily quality reports.
- Promote a safe work environment by following all company safety and quality procedures.
Job Duties
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and product specifications.
- Use precision measuring instruments, including dial calipers, micrometers, and pit gauges, to inspect finished products.
- Interpret measurement results and determine product conformance to specifications.
- Record inspection results, including quantities inspected and non-conformance categories, for reporting purposes.
- Notify production personnel of inspection results and collaborate to resolve quality issues.
- Maintain inspection equipment and ensure measuring tools are properly cared for and calibrated as required.
- Follow all HSE, quality, and company policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and manufacturing specifications.
- Experience using precision measuring instruments such as dial calipers, micrometers, and gauges preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately document inspection results.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
- Must successfully pass a placement evaluation with a minimum score of 80%.
- Previous manufacturing or quality inspection experience is preferred but not required.
