Thread Machine Operator

Location: Houston / TX (Zip Code: 77040)

Shifts & Pay Rates:

• 1st Shift (6am-4:30pm) with OT & some Saturdays required
• 2nd shift(4:30pm-3:30am) with OT & some Saturdays required
• Pay: $16.00 – $18.00 / hour

Job Summary:

We are seeking detail-oriented Thread Machine Operators to set up, operate, and maintain thread-cutting machinery. In this role, you will manufacture high-quality threaded components to strict engineering specifications while ensuring optimal machine performance and minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate thread-cutting machines according to blueprints and job specifications.
• Use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers) to inspect threaded parts for accuracy and quality.
• Adjust machine settings to ensure product consistency and meet production targets.
• Perform basic mechanical troubleshooting, routine cleaning, and preventive maintenance.
• Document production data and report any equipment malfunctions or quality defects.
• Follow all company safety policies and maintaining a clean work environment.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience operating thread-cutting, CNC, or similar machining equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and thread specifications.
• Proficient with precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers).
• Strong mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity, and high attention to detail.
