Thread Rolling Setup Operator

We are seeking an experienced Thread Rolling Setup Operator to set up and operate thread rolling equipment in a manufacturing environment. This position requires strong mechanical ability, attention to detail, and experience using precision measuring tools to ensure finished products meet specifications and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up thread rolling machines according to work orders and production specifications.
• Operate thread rolling equipment safely and efficiently while meeting production expectations.
• Inspect finished products to verify dimensions and overall quality.
• Use calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools to confirm product specifications.
• Measure and calculate product lengths and dimensions.
• Make necessary machine adjustments to maintain product quality.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety, environmental, quality, and operating procedures.
• Safely move materials and products throughout the work area as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related machine setup, thread rolling, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Strong math and measurement skills.
• Experience using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Ability to read and follow work orders, measurements, and written instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required; technical education is a plus.
• Ability to regularly stand, walk, bend, stoop, and kneel throughout the shift.
• Ability to frequently lift and move 50+ lbs.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, comfortable setting up and operating production machinery, and understands the importance of maintaining tight dimensional and quality standards. Previous thread rolling, roll threading, fastener, threaded rod, or similar metalworking experience is highly desirable.
