Threading Production Supervisor – OCTG
South Texas
$100K+ + paid OT

A leading OCTG manufacturer is seeking an experienced Threading Production Supervisor to lead a high-volume OCTG threading operation. This is a hands-on, shop-floor leadership role for someone with deep OCTG threading experience who can lead teams, solve production issues, and drive quality, safety and throughput.

You'll supervise a 25–50 person threading team across two production lines and four CNC threaders, ensuring products meet API 5CT and semi-premium connection requirements.

What You'll Do
Supervise daily OCTG threading operations across two lines and four CNC threaders.
Lead, coach and hold accountable a 25–50 person production team in a high-volume, 24/6 operation.
Oversee GBCD and/or semi-premium threading operations and ensure quality requirements are consistently met.
Monitor threading quality using gauges, optical comparators and API/premium thread inspection equipment.
Drive production throughput, cycle-time improvement and downtime reduction.
Work closely with Quality and Maintenance to troubleshoot equipment and process issues.
Monitor production metrics and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
Conduct safety meetings, address hazards and maintain a strong safety culture.

What We're Looking For
5+ years of OCTG threading leadership experience.
Drill pipe experience alone will not be considered.
Strong hands-on knowledge of semi-premium connections; GBCD strongly preferred.
Experience with CNC threading machines; Mori experience is a plus.
Experience supervising large teams in a 24/6, high-volume manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of API 5CT and premium/semi-premium thread inspection and quality requirements.
Hands-on leadership style with the ability to coach, motivate and hold teams accountable.
Willingness to permanently relocate to South Texas; relocation assistance provided.
