Threadroll Operator Trainee - 1st shift

JOB SUMMARY:

Set up and operate various threadroll machines for manufacturing precision aircraft quality fasteners.

Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Competencies: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Be able to use and set all gages, micrometers, calipers, plug and ring gages, comparator and microscope

Understands threadroll part feature terminology

Read and interpret part drawings, work instructions, process control procedures, policies and procedures

Be able to use the necessary measuring tools

Recognizes improper machine functioning and takes action to report any safety concerns

Perform first piece verification process per part print and do loaf pan inspections

Perform daily 5S on work area and equipment and understands lean principles

Perform preventative maintenance daily at shift start

Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly

Good communication skill and know basic shop math

Pass production stamp test

Understands QMS

Be able to complete transactions in Shop-Trak accurately
