Three‑Roll Ink Milling Technician & Material Handling Operator

Location: Edwardsville, KS

A day in this role

You clock in, review the production schedule, and set up a three‑roll mill to bring an ink batch to spec. You tune gaps, monitor roll temperatures, and watch the product transform as you make precision adjustments. Between runs, you hop on a sit‑down forklift to stage raw materials and move finished totes to the next step. You keep the area clean and safe, and when the shift wraps, your mill is spotless and ready for the next operator.

What you’ll tackle

• Finish and refine ink batches on three‑roll mills, making adjustments to meet quality targets
• Verify quality with routine checks and documentation to ensure batches meet specifications
• Operate a sit‑down forklift to move raw materials and finished goods
• Clean and maintain equipment and work area (it’s a dirty job—uniforms are provided and laundered weekly)
• Weigh, label, and stage materials to keep production flowing
• Follow safety procedures and plant policies at all times

What makes you a match

• 2+ years of steady experience in manufacturing or machine operation
• Mechanical mindset with strong attention to detail
• Forklift background preferred—training available for motivated hires
• Comfort doing physical work, including regular heavy lifting, all shift long
• Dependable attendance and a humble, driven, team‑smart attitude
• Comfortable working in a hands‑on industrial setting

Shifts and pay

• Multiple shifts: Mon–Fri 7:00a–3:30p; 3:00p–11:30p; 11:00p–7:30a
• Starting pay: $20.00/hr; up to $23.50/hr upon hire
• Paid weekly
