Summary/Purpose of Position
The Thrift & Workforce Development Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that promote Miracle Hill Thrift Operations and Workforce Development enterprises, including AutoWorks, BridgeWorks, x CoffeeWorks + Fresh Start Cafe, and CreationWorks.
As a member of the Marketing Team, this position creates and manages integrated marketing efforts across social media, digital advertising, radio, television, print, email, promotions, events, and other channels. Responsibilities include graphic design, content creation, copywriting, campaign development, research, reporting, and social media management.
This position reports to the Director of Marketing and works closely with Thrift and Workforce Development leadership. The position will also support ministry-wide marketing initiatives as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan, research, develop, and implement promotions, advertising campaigns, and marketing strategies for Thrift and Workforce Development.
- Develop promotional campaigns and materials from concept through final production.
- Create graphic designs for digital advertising, signage, posters, cards, print collateral, promotions, and other marketing needs.
- Write compelling copy for radio, television, print, digital, email, social media, and other marketing channels.
- Create and manage organic and paid social media content across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other appropriate platforms.
- Produce short-form video content, including Reels and live social media content.
- Monitor social media engagement and respond appropriately to comments and messages.
- Create, segment, and distribute monthly and quarterly email campaigns for Workforce Development programs.
- Maintain Miracle Hill brand standards across all assigned marketing channels and materials.
- Manage the Thrift and Workforce Development portions of the annual integrated marketing calendar, including social media plans and promotional campaigns.
- Track campaign and social media performance and provide regular reporting and recommendations.
- Meet regularly with the Director of Marketing to review priorities, projects, campaigns, concepts, and results.
- Meet regularly with Thrift and Workforce Development leadership to identify marketing needs, opportunities, promotions, and upcoming initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Team on ministry-wide campaigns, projects, and creative initiatives.
- Provide marketing support for other Miracle Hill ministry initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong graphic design skills and experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
- Associate degree in marketing, graphic design, communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Demonstrated experience in marketing, social media, graphic design, or related communications.
- Strong copywriting and content-development skills.
- Experience creating and managing social media content across multiple platforms.
- Ability to take projects from concept through production with limited supervision.
- Creative, self-motivated, and able to identify marketing opportunities.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Flexible and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities, projects, and organizational needs.
- Ability to analyze marketing performance and use results to improve future campaigns.
