Are you an experienced IT professional who enjoys solving complex technical problems and being the go-to resource when Tier I support needs backup? We’re looking for a Tier II Technical Support Specialist to join a growing nonprofit organization in Kern County.

You’ll handle escalated support requests, troubleshoot systems and network issues, assist with upgrades and projects, and help keep critical technology running smoothly.

What You’ll Do

Provide Tier II technical support for escalated hardware, software, network, and application issues
Troubleshoot Windows workstations, user accounts, connectivity, printers, peripherals, and other end-user technology
Support Microsoft technologies, networks, servers, telecommunications, and business applications
Diagnose and resolve more complex technical issues escalated from Tier I support
Assist with system upgrades, deployments, implementations, and IT projects
Support the reliability, performance, and security of systems and technology environments
Document technical issues, resolutions, and support procedures
Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements to reduce support needs
Serve as a knowledgeable technical resource for users and other IT team members

What We’re Looking For

Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, connectivity, and user-access issues
Ability to independently investigate and resolve complex technical problems
Strong communication and customer service skills
Proactive, dependable, and comfortable working across multiple technical priorities
