TIG and MIG Welder

A well-established manufacturer of custom power solutions and electrical equipment is looking for an experienced Welder I to join their manufacturing team. This is a clean, professional, temperature-controlled facility with a strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork.

Responsibilities:

• Perform TIG and MIG welding, primarily on aluminum components

• Weld aluminum, steel, and stainless-steel components

• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and welding symbols

• Prepare and clean materials before welding

• Set up and adjust welding equipment for different materials and thicknesses

• Inspect completed welds for quality and defects

• Weld in flat, vertical, and overhead positions

• Safely handle materials and finished components

• Complete production paperwork, tally sheets, and scrap reports

• Enter production information into Epicor

• Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on welding equipment

• Follow company safety procedures, PPE requirements, and SOPs

• Work with supervisors and other team members to maintain production and quality standards

Requirements:

• 2+ years of welding/manufacturing experience

• Strong TIG welding experience required

• MIG welding experience required

• Aluminum welding experience strongly preferred

• Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols

• Ability to identify welding defects and quality issues

• Basic math and documentation skills

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. intermittently

• Must be comfortable standing, bending, reaching, and working in a manufacturing environment

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug test

1. 1^st shift 5am to 3:30pm Monday -Thursday

2. Weekend shift 5am to 5:30pm Friday-Sunday

Pay: $23–$28/hr DOE
