Tig Brush / Weld Cleaner

Job Summary:

The TIG Brush operator will be responsible for cleaning welds according to customer specifications. The ideal candidate should possess a strong attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members.

Primary Functions:

• Set up, operate, and maintain the TIG Brush system according to specific job requirements and safety protocols.
• Effectively remove any discoloration, heat tint, oxides, and other contaminants from TIG welds using the TIG Brush and appropriate cleaning fluids.
• Achieve a clean and corrosion-resistant finish on stainless steel and other metals.
• Inspect cleaned welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Clean and maintain the TIG Brush, brushes, leads, and other components to maximize their lifespan and ensure optimal performance.
• Adhere to safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE to ensure a safe work environment.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Other duties as assigned.

Pay Range: $18 - 20/ hour
