Work Schedule
- Shift: Monday–Friday
- Working Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on TIG & MIG welding experience
- Experience working as a Shop Welder & Assembler
- Able to read and interpret engineering drawings/blueprints
- Fluent English communication skills
- Strong fabrication, fitting, and assembly experience
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Reliable with a stable work history
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform TIG and MIG welding on steel and metal components
- Assemble fabricated parts according to engineering drawings
- Read and interpret blueprints and work orders
- Ensure weld quality meets company standards
- Inspect finished work for accuracy and quality
- Operate welding and fabrication equipment safely
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should have:
- 5+ years of TIG & MIG welding experience
- Experience in a manufacturing or fabrication shop
- Strong blueprint-reading ability
- Excellent fitting and assembly skills
- Good communication skills in English
- Available to work the day shift (7:30 AM – 4:00 PM)
- Located in or willing to commute to Mississauga, ON
