The Position Mission is to support gas turbine repair operations by fabricating and welding components to precise specifications, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
Schedule:
- 1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday, 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze work orders and blueprints to determine welding requirements.
- Fabricate components through cleaning, preparing, fitting, and TIG welding.
- Set up assemblies to ensure accuracy and inspect weld quality.
- Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain welding equipment.
- Document work and participate in training activities.
- Maintain safety standards in the work environment.
Qualifications:
- Experience in TIG welding (weld test required).
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and follow safety procedures.
- Proficiency with fabrication tools and record-keeping.
- Dependable with physical ability to lift and stand for long periods.
