Advanced Personnel Resources is currently seeking experienced Tig Welders for our client in the Browns Summit area. Ideal candidates will have 2 years of recent experience as a mechanical technician, welder and/or fabricator. This positions works 7:30am-4pm, Monday-Friday.Job DutiesPerform precision TIG welding on stainless steel components and assemblies.Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment. Troubleshoot machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair machine.Utilize MIG welding as needed to support fabrication projects.Dismantle defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts.Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears and other parts of machinery.Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings.Installs and repairs components of machinery and equipment.Lay out, assemble, install and maintains operational systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment and repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.Install, program or repair automated machinery and equipment such as robots or programmable controllers.Fabricate, fit, and assemble metal components to specification.Understand production processes and operation of machinery for troubleshooting purposes.Assemble machinery according to blueprints and manuals.Fabricating parts for equipment projects as necessary (i.e. drill castings).Inspecting parts for accuracy and quality.Filing/grinding/deburring, measuring parts to ensure proper fit.Performs assigned preventive maintenance tasks as needed.Job RequirementsAbility to Read and understand blueprints, mechanical drawings, disassembly, reassembly machines & conveyors.2 or more years of recent experience as a Tig Welder preferred.Experience working with conveyors is a plus.Flexible to work hours as requiredBenefits Offered:Medical InsuranceDental InsuranceShort‐Term Disability InsuranceLife & Long‐Term Disability InsurancePaid Vacation & Holidays401K Retirement PlanDirect HireStarting Pay: $21-23/hr.A
